Alana and Keanan met in high school back in 2015, sharing a classroom and a lot of laughs. Alana thought Keanan was incredibly attractive (still does!) and quickly fell for his sense of humor. He smiled at her jokes too, so she knew the feeling was mutual.

Their story officially began on one of Keanan’s family camping trips—fitting, since his sister is also Alana’s best friend. That summer was nothing short of magic. They went to grad together, moved in while Alana was in university, and weathered life’s ups and downs, including a year apart during COVID. They found their way back to each other in late 2021, stronger and more in love than ever.

Since then, they’ve built a cozy little life with their dog—and in October of 2024, they welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Kolson. One late night, standing in their kitchen, Keanan proposed, and of course, Alana said yes.

Alana loves Keanan for how deeply he protects and cares for her and how beautifully he loves their son. Keanan loves that Alana makes him laugh, always thinks of him, and—his words—“puts up with his shit.”

They’ve grown up together, and now they get to grow old together, too. Keanan is Alana’s always, and she is his forever.
